Achievement is celebrated in lessons and we are proud that our students share their successes with each other. Students receive an effort grade once every half term in each of their subjects, this allows us to share with students and parents an overview of performance and in most cases this is a positive picture.

At the end of each term students with outstanding sets of effort grades are rewarded in recognition of their achievements.

Achievement is also rewarded on a day to day basis in lessons. Teachers encourage students to reflect on their own achievements and progress towards their targets, which results in greater independence and awareness of what they need to
 do in order to succeed.
